Free Ultrasounds in Bemidji

Because there’s a high demand for free ultrasounds in Bemidji, we ask clients to confirm their need with a positive pregnancy test first. We provide free pregnancy tests and can often schedule your ultrasound the same day.

If you’re considering abortion, your first step is a pre-abortion appointment to have an ultrasound.

Before scheduling an abortion, an ultrasound will show:

• If your pregnancy is progressing. This is important for knowing which type of abortion you might be eligible for. The procedure and cost can depend on your health history and how far along you are.

• Advise you to seek emergency medical care if needed

Limited ultrasounds at Northwoods Pregnancy Center do NOT:

• Tell you the sex of the baby

• Diagnose fetal abnormalities

• Replace regular prenatal care

We offer free ultrasounds to check if your pregnancy is viable and to see how far along you are. As a community-funded nonprofit, we do not profit from your ultrasound or your pregnancy decision. Our services are always free, so nothing will show up on your insurance or get billed to your account.
